LUCKY- Jason Mraz Colbie Caillat
~Jason~
Do you hear me,
I’m talking to you
Across the water across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I’m trying
~Colbie~
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard
~Both~
I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Ooohh, ooooh, oooh, oooh,
Oooh ooh ooh ooh
~Both~
They don’t know how long it takes
Waiting for a love like this
Every time we say goodbye
I wish we had one more kiss
I’ll wait for you I promise you, I will
~Both~
I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Lucky we’re in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
~Jason~
And so I’m sailing through the sea
To an island where we’ll meet
You’ll hear the music fill the air
I’ll put a flower in your hair
~Colbie~
Though the breezes through trees
Move so pretty you’re all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now
~Both~
I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
I’m lucky we’re in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
Ooohh, ooooh, oooh, oooh,
Oooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooooh, ooooh, oooh, oooh,
Oooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FACE
Text
It might not launch a thousand ships, but this is the face that won the title “Britain’s Most Natural Beauty”. Eighteen-year-old Florence Colgate’s face is considered almost flawless … it’s perfectly symmetrical, with large eyes, full lips and high cheekbones.
- I had to send in a picture wearing no make-up and from that I got called to say I got through into the top 5 out of 8000 people. It’s just unbelievable. Honestly, I did not expect to get this far at all.
The competition wasn’t just about subjective beauty – it was settled with science. Researchers say the distances between facial features and the width and length of the face are deciding factors for perfection. And Colgate scored very close to the ideal.
- I think I just look at my face and I see me, I don’t really see, like science, it’s just yeah.
Colgate works part-time at a local fish and chips shop. But she says her new-found fame doesn’t seem to have made her more popular with customers.
- I haven’t really noticed. Obviously you still get your regulars who come in every week. I don’t know, it’s a busy fish and chip shop anyway.
Colgate plans to study business management at university, unless of course, a lucrative modeling contract shows its face.
Vocabulary
Flawless – with no faults or errors.
Full – having a rounded shape : not thin or narrow.
Cheekbones – a bone of the face that is located below the eye.
Subjective – relating to the way a person experiences things in his or her own mind.
Lucrative – producing money or wealth.
WE FOUND LOVE-RIHANNA
Yellow diamonds in the light
And we're standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine
What it takes to come alive
It's the way I’m feeling I just can't deny
But I've gotta let it go
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
Shine a light through an open door
Love and life I will divide
Turn away cause I need you more
Feel the heartbeat in my mind
It's the way I’m feeling I just can't deny
But I've gotta let it go
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
Yellow diamonds in the light
And we're standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
I DON`T WANNA MISS A THING
I don't want to miss a thing (?)
I could stay awake just to hear you breathing,
Watch you smile while you are sleeping,
While you are far away and dreaming,
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender,
I could stay lost in this moment forever,
Where a moment spent with you is a moment I treasure,
(chorus)
I don't want to close my eyes, I don't want to fall asleep,
Cause I miss you baby, and I don't want to miss a thing,
Cause even when I dream of you, the sweetest dream will never do,
I still miss you baby and I don't want to miss a thing
Lying close to you feeling your heart beating,
And I wondering what you are dreaming,
Wondering if it's me you are seeing,
Then I kiss your eyes and thank god we're together,
I just want to stay with you in this moment forever and forever forever
(chorus)
And I don't want to miss one smile,
I don't want to miss one kiss,
I just want to be with you right here with you,
Just like this, I just want to hold you close,
I feel your heart so close to mine
And just stay here in this moment,
For all of the rest of time
(chorus)
